In 1976 he joined Honeywell Information Systems (UK) as their first dedicated Communications Support Engineer. His responsibilities included national support of all system product lines, hardware and software, associated with local and wide area networking. As well as producing technical fault finding tools and procedures, he was involved in pioneering remote access support functions and introducing ‘structured networking’ infrastructures for the company’s products and clients. An opportunity to become involved in a new ‘start-up’ company was taken in 1983. This was a senior management position in establishing a European base for the provision of network products and services to Financial Trading Institutions. In 1985 he formed his own company, Allnet Limited, which specialised in the provision of ‘expert’ network products and services. By 1999 the company had achieved continuous profitability and had an annual turnover in excess of £10 Million. The Founders of Exlayer share his passion for the provision of ‘no nonsense’ and first class levels of service and he is delighted at being involved, and being able to assist, in the continued development of Exlayer. Takahiro Yoshida / DirectorIn 1980 he joined Japan Radio Company in Tokyo where he gained analogue hardware design skills. His responsibilities included the design of a short wave radio transceiver for the Japan Defence Agency. By 1984 he had moved to Heart Engineering Co. Here, having designed a number of audio / radio hardware systems, he progressed into digital technology and having learnt small computer systems such as Z80, 8086 and peripheral hardware, assembly language, C language and LAN, he began writing a regular article on Computer Communications for a national computer magazine. Having moved to London in 1990, he joined Telecomet International Limited as a senior member of their Project Department. He was subsequently promoted to General Manager of the entire engineering group. This is where he specialised in IT consultancy and management roles, for more than 100 projects, throughout his 10 years of activity within the company. It was 2001 when he formed Exlayer, and together with other core members, his main ambition remained for Exlayer to be providing 'top quality service' and to be recognised as the best ‘service provider’ available within the U.K. Being totally committed to delivering the best style of 'customer service', he personally developed a number of quality management system procedures within the organisation, resulting in Exlayer becoming recognised and achieving ISO9001 and ISO27001 status. His 'never satisfied with staying' attitude provides both him and his colleagues with the utmost interesting challenges. |
