exlayer.NET for Sage is a new unique outsourced service for SME customers and Accountancy Companies. We are able to provide a complete IT infrastructure which will allow you to run your own Sage Line 50 application located in our secure data centre and which provides totally secure remote access. You can securely access your Sage Line 50 from anywhere over the Internet. Furthermore, if you have an appointed Accountancy Company, they are also able to access your Sage Line 50 application remotely.

For Sage End Users

For Accounting Companies

We are neither accountants nor accountancy software developers; we do however retain expert knowledge of the Sage application and its required infrastructure and installation processes. By introducing exlayer.NET for Sage to your clients, or as a provided package solution within your accountancy services, you will enjoy:

• No unnecessary expense of visiting client's offices to access their Sage application, access is achieved remotely over the Internet. This saves time and as a result more clients can be serviced in a much shorter timeframe.
• No need for in-house, or at client’s offices, specialist IT knowledge. All IT related issues are dealt with by Exlayer and are included within the monthly charge.
• Exlayer will deal with all technical problems and liaise directly with Sage for application support on your behalf.

Security

Unlike many other application services, and in order to maximise security, each individual Sage end user is allocated its own dedicated PC located at our secure data centre.

Information security is at the heart of our services, this is endorsed by our ISO27001 accreditation. We utilise encryption technology SSL VPN between our data centre and end users' PCs. In addition, the end user is provided with an electronic token device that is configured with a one time password (see the picture left). This restricts logon access to the Sage infrastructure for only the authorised owner of the device. In the event of this device being misplaced or lost, the owner can contact our support team, and after a number of security checks, temporary secure access can be provided together with a rapid replacement service for the token.
