Aladdin eToken - Two factor authentication

Two factor authentication has become a requirement at a number of companies. For example, Exlayer's Information Security Management System (ISMS) manual, which follows the ISO27001 specification, has since 2003 required that all corporate desktop and mobile PCs must have two factor authentication. We have selected eToken, manufactured by Aladdin Knowledge Systems, leaders in digital security, providing solutions for software Digital Rights Management and Internet security since 1985.

Aladdin eToken is a portable USB device just smaller than a house key that generates and provides secure storage for passwords, digital certificates, secure authentication, digital signing and encryption. eToken is based on Smartcard technology but requires no special readers. A single eToken provides a set of ready-to-use security solutions meeting all authentication needs, and providing mobile PC and file security.

Windows Logon

eToken provides two factor authentication when logging on to Windows and protects unauthorised access to network resources or data on mobile PCs, supporting both smartcard logon technology using Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and the native Microsoft Windows logon (GINA) by storing users' passwords.

Web Sign On

eToken enables strong user authentication when accessing protected web resources and signing sensitive digital transactions. eToken supports multiple web authentication methods including one-time passwords and digital certificates.

PKI

eToken offers the maximum level of protection, as it allows for authentication and signing with the private key from the token itself. Private keys are generated on-board the token and are never exposed to the PC.

SSL VPN Logon

eToken enables strong user authentication when remotely accessing the corporate network, offering seamless integration with SSL VPN systems. eToken supports multiple VPN authentication methods including one-time passwords and digital certificates.

eToken PRO (USB)

eToken PRO is a USB token for data security. It is a low-cost readerless smartcard device that enables strong, two-factor authentication and is easy to deploy. eToken PRO's secure, on-board RSA 1024-bit and 2048-bit key operations enable seamless integration into any PKI or other security architectures.

eToken NG-OTP

eToken NG-OTP is a hybrid USB and One Time Password (OTP) token, offering all of the functionality of eToken PRO USB with the addition of OTP technology for strong authentication in detached mode. eToken NG-OTP integrates multiple strong authentication methods and enables a wide variety of security related solutions, all in one device.

eToken PRO (Smartcard)

eToken PRO Smartcard offers the same functionality as eToken PRO USB, but with a traditional credit card form factor. The eToken PRO Smartcard is operable with a standard smartcard reader.

 

Proximity (Physical) Access and Photo ID Badge Add-ons

eToken can integrate with proximity access and ID badge solutions, combining both physical access and logical access in one device. Proximity technology can be integrated with both USB and smartcard eToken form factors.
