ICMA TRAX over Internet

ICMA (ISMA) have recently introduced TRAX services over the Internet. For the small to mid sized financial companies, who do not handle huge amounts of transactions, TRAX over the Internet is an attractive way of reducing communication costs by eliminating the costs of expensive leased line connections. Exlayer engineers are able to provide the technical services to reorganise leased line connections and Internet connections for the TRAX reporting system.

Case Study

A small company in the City of London generating 10+ transactions a day, Exlayer recommended an additional ADSL line, for redundancy on the comms line, and installed a Juniper NetScreen 5GT firewall with a Dual Untrust mode. ISMA has registered both ADSL’s public IP addresses as authorised and the client now enjoys reduced communications costs and has achieved better resilience of Internet connectivity for both TRAX and general use.
